Salinas, California, Eminent Domain Law Firm

I am a career California real estate lawyer with a law practice increasingly focused on issues related to eminent domain, including condemnation. I challenge the government's right to take private property from one owner and convert it to use by another.

Fighting for Just Compensation for Property under Condemnation via Eminent Domain

When condemnation is a foregone conclusion, I fight to ensure that my clients receive just compensation for property taken via eminent domain.

Real Estate Law ◦ Water Law ◦ Construction Law

Contact me to schedule a consultation regarding any real estate, water law, or construction law matter in the Central Valley, Pajaro Valley, Santa Clara Valley, or San Joaquin Valley areas. I handle complex property-related cases including inverse condemnation lawsuits.

My experience over nearly three decades in a wide range of California real estate issues has given me the tools and the knowledge necessary to represent clients facing a wide range of legal matters having to do with property. I serve real estate developers, land owners, and others with legal concerns including land acquisitions, property development, real estate purchase, sale, or improvement; and related issues.

Other Practice Areas

Other areas of my practice include real estate permitting, zoning, business formation, civil litigation, and non profit organizations (including formation, tax issues, and donor intent disputes).

My Qualifications and Experience

I was admitted to practice as an attorney in California in 1980, and over the years since then have been professionally involved in many important agencies, organizations, and educational institutions. I have held responsible positions including the following:

  • Board member of the Monterey Peninsula Water Management district (1996-1999), and the Pacific Research Institute (1991-present)
  • Executive director of the Banbury Fund (1978-present)
  • Adjunct fellow at the Claremont Institute, Golden State Center for Policy Studies (1995-present)
  • Adjunct political science and history professor at Chapman University
  • Contact me to schedule a free initial consultation.
